Welcome, my name is Steven Schaeneman, I'm a professional computer and laptop repair technician. I live in Chicopee, Massachusetts and also serve Springfield, Holyoke, and other surrounding communities. repaired. Most all computer problems are easy to diagnose and fix. With the price of a new computer costing under $300, it makes little sense to pay someone $80 an hour plus the costs or parts to fix it. The repairs I do usually cost $50 for the labor. On average most computer repair issues are either operating system or software related, usually there is only the cost of the labor to fix it. The biggest hardware problems are usually the power supplies and laptop motherboard DC power plugs becoming loose. They cost about $40 brand new and are very easy for me to install. The biggest software issues are viruses and malware. I can absolutely remove any computer virus with a 90 day warranty. Hard drive and memory upgrades are also very reasonably priced. I'm always glad to look at your computer or laptop free of charge. I can very quickly and easily let you know whether it is worth fixing. If you don't want your computer fixed but need to recover the data on your hard drive this can also be done very affordably. Laptop hardware problems such as spilling something on your key board, dropping it, or the screen not working right can be a little more difficult for me to work with. Some laptops are very easy to fix and others are a little harder to fix if I can't obtain a schematic diagram of the design. Laptop manufacturers are very secretive of their designs because they want to be the only company that can fix it. If you have a complex laptop that has a big problem, I work very closely with several computer repair technicians who specialize in laptop repairs only. Myself and my fellow technicians are the best in the area. We can fix almost any laptop. Whether I do the repair, or one of my technician-colleagues do the repair, it will be affordable.
